JEE Advanced 2023 registration will initiate from April 2023 and the examination date is May 2023. Also, the (JAB) Joint Admission Board conducts the examination. Further, the IIT Madras conducting Institute for 2023. Also, JEE Advance qualified applicants will get admission in 4-year Bachelor of Engineering at 23 IITs (Indian Institute of Technology). Further, JEE Advanced is a second stage examination followed by JEE Main Exam. Moreover, the applicants can take this exam 2  times in consecutive years. 

Firstly, this examination is open to both Indian & abroad applicants. Also, the important dates and schedule are declared by IIT Madras officially in October 2023.

Examination Schedule

The JEE Advanced examination mostly consists of two papers which include Paper 1 and Paper 2. The duration of each paper is set for three hours.

JEE Advanced 2023 Application Form

Firstly, the application form for JEE Advanced 2023 a second stage examination for aspirants seeking admission in IITs. The forms will be only for top 220000 qualified students of Jee Mains 2023. The Application will be released in April after the Mains result declaration in April.

Registration Process for JEE Advanced

In order to enroll for JEE Advance exams the student must have qualified the JEE Main. But, this is the only imperative criteria as such. Also, the registration process will commence in April. Before applying, the candidates need to create their account online, register and after that fill the application form.

Joint Entrance Exam Advanced is among the most sought-after National Level Engineering Entrance Exams in India. And it is directed by the seven zonal IITs under the supervision of the Joint Admission Board (JAB).

Further, There are 2 papers in the exam and both are mandatory. Also, the online registration will begin in April. The JEE Advanced Exam date is fixed and it is in May. Moreover, the exam date will not be changed under any circumstances. Finally, the result will be declared in June and the counselling process will begin a week post result declaration. Hence, the candidates must keep visiting the official JEE(Advanced) portal regularly.

Eligibility Criteria

For 2023 JEE Advanced, 20 thousand more candidates will be eligible to take up the exam after clearing JEE Mains. Earlier 2 lakh students were eligible to take up JEE Advanced, from 2023, 2,20,000 (Two Lakh, twenty thousand) students will be allowed to take up JEE Advanced. However, the candidates should be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) after appearing for JEE (Main) 2023.

According to the new guidelines from the Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances & Pensions, students belonging to OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes- Non-Creamy Layer) should submit the certificates issued after April 1 to be considered valid.

There is a lot of speculation amongst students that for JEE Main 2023, the score of board marks will be regarded as only for eligibility and not criteria for JEE Rank. Earlier the rank was given based on JEE Score(60%) and marks obtained in Class 12 Board exams  (40%).

If the board scores are taken into consideration, then the cutoff for SC and ST candidates for Class 12 board exams will be reduced to 65% from 70%.

Number Of Attempts

A candidate can appear for JEE (Advanced) for a maximum of two times in consecutive years.

JEE Advance 2023 Admit Card

Firstly, JEE Advanced Admit Card will be made available on the official portal. Also, the candidates who have filled the form properly can download it. Moreover, the admit card contains details such as Name, Exam Center Details paper name, signature, photograph, correspondence address, preferred language, and category etc. And, candidates must check the details carefully before downloading. Therefore, candidates should contact the concerned authorities if there is an error in the admit card. And, the applicants have to keep a copy of admit card till the admission process is over.
